Day-by-Day Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Your 2-day Lake Nakuru safari from Nairobi begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel. Depart Nairobi and travel towards Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying spectacular scenery as you pass through the Great Rift Valley.
Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, begin your wildlife experience with a game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in.
After lunch, set out on an afternoon game drive. Drive towards the shores of Lake Nakuru, where you can enjoy views of the lake and its surrounding habitats.
Depending on the season and water conditions, you may see flamingoes and pelicans, while the park provides excellent opportunities to spot White and Black Rhinos, Rothschild’s Giraffes, Waterbucks, Buffaloes, Zebras, Lions and numerous other species of African wildlife.
The forest and wetland habitats around the lake also attract a wide variety of bird species, making Lake Nakuru an excellent destination for bird lovers.
Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi

Wake up early and enjoy a morning game drive before breakfast, when wildlife is often particularly active. Explore different sections of the park in search of rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and other wildlife.
Return to your lodge for breakfast before checking out and departing for Nairobi.
Enjoy lunch en route as you travel back to the capital. Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon and transfer to your respective hotel or Nairobi airport.
