Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Mombasa at approximately 6:30 AM and drive towards Tsavo East National Park, entering through Bachuma Gate.
Upon arrival, begin your first game drive as you explore the park’s vast plains and diverse habitats. Tsavo East is one of Kenya’s largest national parks and is famous for its spectacular landscapes, abundant wildlife, and large herds of red elephants, whose distinctive color comes from the red dust they bathe in.
During the game drive, look out for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, kudu, gerenuk, hartebeest and many other species. Bird enthusiasts can also enjoy the park’s impressive birdlife.
Proceed to your lodge or camp for lunch and check-in. After some time to relax, head out for an afternoon game drive, continuing your search for the Big Five and other wildlife.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West National Park

Wake up early for a morning game drive at approximately 6:15 AM, one of the best times to see wildlife when animals are most active.
Return to the lodge for breakfast at around 8:30 AM, then check out and continue your safari towards Tsavo West National Park, enjoying a game drive en route.
Tsavo West is renowned for its dramatic scenery, including volcanic landscapes, forests, wooded grasslands, rivers and natural springs. The park is also historically associated with the famous Man-Eaters of Tsavo.
Arrive at your lodge for lunch and check-in, followed by some time to relax.
At approximately 4:00 PM, depart for an afternoon game drive, including a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary. Keep an eye out for rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes and zebras.
You may also explore the spectacular Shetani Lava Flow and Chaimu Crater, depending on the day’s safari route and park conditions.
Return to the lodge at around 6:00 PM for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park – Mombasa

Start the day with an early morning game drive through Tsavo West National Park, followed by breakfast.
After breakfast, continue your wildlife exploration with a visit to Mzima Springs, one of Tsavo West’s most famous attractions. The springs are fed by underground water from the surrounding volcanic landscape and are home to hippos, crocodiles and a variety of fish. The underwater viewing area offers an opportunity to observe aquatic life beneath the clear spring waters.
Continue with a game drive en route, enjoying your final views of Tsavo’s wildlife and landscapes.
Proceed to Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge for lunch. After lunch, begin your drive back towards the coast, arriving at your Mombasa hotel in the early evening.
